WORKING GROUPS
The function of working groups is to help direct and define our work in relation to specific topics and areas of concern. Working group members may also take on pieces of work between meetings but are not required to.
The role of staff in working groups is to inform members of work progression, new issues and events and to coordinate meetings and ensure minutes, agendas and other materials are distributed. Staff also do the majority of the work of the working group, reporting back to the committee regularly, usually at meetings. Meetings are held as often as the group feels necessary.
